The Luxury One Bedroom Suite: a door between the bed and the sofa

River Cree counts 11 luxury suites among its 249 rooms. The Stay page names two suite types, and this is the first: the Luxury One Bedroom Suite. The name says the bedroom is separate from the rest of the suite. The video is the only description the resort offers; there is no floor area, no bed size and no list of extra furniture.

What is certain

Whatever the suite looks like, it carries the hotel-wide amenity list — the desk, the microwave, the mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker, the bathtub and shower, the TV with pay-per-view and in-room movies, internet and Wi-Fi. Room service is available 24/7.

When a suite makes sense here

A wedding couple using one of the two ballrooms, who want a room to get ready in and somewhere for the photographer to work. A pair coming for a late show and a long dinner, where one wants to sleep while the other watches the game. A business guest holding small meetings — although the Chief's Boardroom, which seats 16 with built-in AV, is the better tool for that.

What we would ask

• The bed size, and whether the sitting room has a sofa bed.
• The floor area — compare it with the Luxury Family Suite before choosing.
• Whether the suite has a second bathroom or a powder room.
• Whether suites sit on a particular floor, away from the casino entrance and the new tower's construction.

Suites in the new tower

STAY Magazine reported in September 2024 that the expansion tower would include more than 30 luxury suites, with every bathroom having a walk-in shower and a bathtub. That tower is not open; reports point to 2027. The suite on this page is in the existing hotel.
