On stage at River Cree, from Halloween to the spring

Copied from the resort's events list on 29 October 2026. Dates move — the Morgan Jay shows already have — so confirm on the resort's site before you book a room.

The resort's event list showed twelve dated performances when we read it on 29 October 2026. Heart had played on 23 and 24 October and dropped off the list. Here is what remained, in order, with the start times the resort prints.

  1. River Cree's Halloween Bash — hip-hop and R&B night with producer and DJ Jermaine Dupri, plus DJ Invinceable.
  2. Blue Rodeo — the Canadian band behind the 1993 album Five Days in July.
  3. Blue Rodeo, second night, with support act Aysanabee.
  4. Strait from me to you with Gil Grand — a George Strait tribute show.
  5. The Tenors — Season of Hope Tour, a Christmas programme.
  6. Jade Eagleson — Christmas show by the country singer.
  7. New Year's Eve Show: Undercover Legends Of Rock — classic-rock tribute production.
  8. Morgan Jay: The Goofy Guy Tour — two shows, rescheduled for health reasons; original tickets stay valid.
  9. Trooper.
  10. The Irish Rovers — 2027 tour.
  11. RuPaul's Drag Race Werq The World 2027 Tour.

Reading the calendar

Nine of the twelve listings start at 9 pm. Two Sunday shows — Blue Rodeo's second night and The Tenors — start at 8 pm, and Morgan Jay has an early 6 pm show. A 9 pm start usually means leaving after 11, which is the strongest argument for a room upstairs.

Weekend shows sell rooms. Blue Rodeo plays a Saturday and a Sunday back to back; the Halloween Bash is a Friday; New Year's Eve falls on a Thursday this year. If you are coming for one of those nights, send your request before you buy the tickets, not after.

Other dates on the property

The resort's Holiday Market — Maskêkosihk Pipon Atâwêwikamik — runs from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November 2026, 1 to 9 pm, with First Nations, Métis and Inuit vendors and admission by donation. It is a community event, not a River Cree show, so the 18+ rule for concerts does not apply in the same way; see our journal note.

Food on show nights

The Kitchen and Tap 25 publish show-night menus, River Cree Eats opens on show nights from 5:30 pm, and Hell's Kitchen serves dinner until 11 pm. Nothing is sold to eat inside The Venue during a concert.

Room request coupon

Tell us your dates and the room you have in mind at River Cree. The desk checks availability and the current rate with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, then answers by email.

No card details. Nothing is booked until you confirm.

How this paper is paid: when a request sent from this coupon turns into a confirmed stay, the hotel or the booking partner that completes the reservation pays us a commission. You pay the hotel's rate and nothing on top.

Received. The desk will write back by email, normally within one business day, with what the hotel can offer for your dates. This is a request, not a booking.
