River Cree's postal address is 300 East Lapotac Blvd, Enoch, Alberta T7X 3Y3. STAY Magazine places it just south of Whitemud Drive and west of Winterburn Road. Travel Alberta and the provincial regulator list it under "Edmonton", but the resort stands on Enoch Cree Nation land, outside the City of Edmonton. In Google Maps the resort's card carries the name of its new restaurant, "Hell's Kitchen @ River Cree Casino"; the pin is on the resort itself. Our links below go to that card.

By car
The hotel overview describes the resort as easily reached and "situated near two major freeways". From the city, Whitemud Drive runs west toward the resort; from the airport, Google's fastest route on our check went north on Highway 2 and then west on Highway 216. Parking is free on three lots around the casino, and valet is complimentary from 9:30 am to 3:00 am. See parking and valet for detail.
From the airport
Edmonton International Airport, code YEG, sits in Leduc County, south of the city. The resort's own pages disagree on the drive: 20 minutes on the Stay page, 25 minutes on the hotel overview. Our calculation with the OSRM router, with no traffic, came to 37.9 km and 34 minutes; Google Maps showed about 30 minutes and 38.5 km when we checked on the morning of 29 October. We found no airport shuttle published by the resort, so plan on a rental car, a taxi or a rideshare. Route from YEG airport in Google Maps.
From downtown and the train
From Edmonton City Hall, Google showed a 19.5 km drive of about 31 minutes on our check, mostly on Whitemud Drive. Our own figure to the Alberta Legislature was 18.5 km and 26 minutes without traffic. VIA Rail passengers arriving at Edmonton's station should allow a similar drive. By public transit
The resort publishes no transit directions, and we found no Edmonton Transit Service route listed to its door. Google's transit planner did offer journeys from City Hall when we checked, using buses with at least one change and a walk at the end, taking around an hour and a half. Treat that as a possibility to check on the day, not a service to rely on at night. From the airport, the city's standard transit route is bus 747 to Century Park and the Capital Line LRT into the city — and then you would still need to reach the resort. Transit options from Edmonton City Hall.
Taxi and rideshare
The resort's Venue FAQ says taxis drop off and pick up in front of the casino entrance. After a late show, that is the place to wait.
The free shuttle to West Edmonton Mall
River Cree runs a complimentary shuttle to and from West Edmonton Mall for its guests and staff. It runs every 30 minutes; for the full timetable the resort asks you to call the Casino Players Club on 780-930-2562. For a shopping day it removes the parking question at the mall altogether.

Winter driving
Edmonton winters are long and the resort sits on open land at the edge of the city. Allow extra time on show nights in December to March, keep the phone number of the hotel (1-844-425-2733) with you, and if the roads are bad the simplest plan is the one this paper exists for: stay the night.
Is River Cree in the City of Edmonton?
No. It is on Enoch Cree Nation land just west of the city, although tourism listings label it Edmonton.
Is there a shuttle from the airport?
We found none published by the resort. Plan on a car, taxi or rideshare.
Can I get there by bus?
Possibly, with changes and a walk; the resort publishes no transit directions. Check Google's transit planner on the day.
