Who we are
Prairie Stay Courier, at galaxyplayground.com, is an independent publication about River Cree Resort and Casino. It is not the resort's website. Questions about this notice go to [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you give us in the room request form: your name, email address, phone number if you add one, the number of guests, your dates, the room type you choose, your note, your consent, and the page you sent it from. Our server also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Why we use it
To answer your request; to ask the hotel or a booking partner about availability and rates on your behalf; and, if you decide to book, to pass your details to the one that completes the reservation. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or rent them.
Who receives it
- River Cree Resort and Casino or the booking partner handling your request — only what they need for it.
- Our service providers: the hosting company (DigitalOcean, server in Frankfurt, Germany) and our email provider. Your information may therefore be stored and processed outside Canada, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Cookies and maps
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Our "How to get there" page embeds a Google Maps map: when that page loads, the map is delivered by Google, which receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. On our front page the map loads only if you press the button. Links marked "Open in Google Maps" or "Directions" take you to Google's site.
How long we keep it
We keep request details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can answer follow-up questions and keep records of commissions, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw consent to further use, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Children
This site is for adults planning a hotel stay. Requests should be sent by someone 18 or over.
