The $200-million expansion, and the three versions of its numbers

Every account agrees on the outline: a new hotel tower, a new pool, much more event space and new places to eat, paid for by the Nation that owns the resort and announced at about $200 million. The details move from one report to the next, and a guest planning a 2027 stay should know which numbers are firm and which are not.

What the CEO promised

STAY Magazine quoted CEO Vik Mahajan at the groundbreaking: the new bathrooms "will all have a walk-in shower and a bathtub", which he called something that does not really exist in the city now. He said the largest ballroom would be about 18,000 square feet and the conference space would be on two levels.

June 2026: the top of the tower

CDC Gaming reported that the resort had finished its exterior work and topped off the hotel expansion with the completion of a 20th floor, with construction moving inside. The Nation said it was on track for a July 2027 opening. Tribal council member Kyle Peacock called the milestone a "blessing".

The golf venue

Daily Hive added another piece in September 2026: RC Golf & Games, a two-storey indoor venue with 40 driving bays, rooftop patios and a 75-seat restaurant, now slated for spring 2027. Our golf page has the detail.

What it means for a stay now

The new rooms cannot be booked yet. Guests stay in the existing hotel, and several reviews on Trip.com mention renovation work. When you send a request, ask for a room away from the construction; we will pass it on.

What we will watch

We will update this page when the resort publishes room types, an opening date or booking for the new tower on its own site. Until then, treat every figure here as a report, not a promise.
